[MnM] Japanese heater-table "Kotatsu"

Kotatsu

"Kotatsu" is a Japanese traditional heater-table. It is a table covered with comforters and has a built-in heater.

Long ago there was no electric power, kotatsu had an internal brazier to warm up people and their room. Even today we have an air conditioner or other heater devices in our daily life, the "Kotatsu" is the still one of the most popular heating appliance in Japan. It is like a hearth, the heart of our pleasant and comfortable life.

[MnM] "Kotatsu" instruction

The [MnM] "Kotatsu" is a kind of the furniture. Please sit on any side you want (select "sit" from right click-pie menu). There are four sides of blankets, so "officially", four people can sit on "Kotatsu".

Function for person sitting on seat

Please click an upper blanket where you are on to pop-up a setup dialog.

• position
  Adjust your sitting position by this option. You can select "high", "middle" or "low".
• pose
  You can change your sitting pose. [MnM] "Kotatsu" has three poses.
  • sit
    pose makes you sit.
  • lounge
    pose makes you lie on your back. ( premium only )
  • relax
    pose makes you lie your face down. ( premium only )
  • action
    You can perform some action-animations at your will. ( The action-animations are usually represented automatically at random )

Functions for owners

If you are a "Kotatsu" owner, you can click its topboard to pop-up dialog for an owner functions.

• color
  You can change the color pattern of "Kotatsu" from eight preset styles.
  
  • <<custom>>（premium only）
    You can set your "Kotatsu" your original texture and color by a <<custom>> option button.
    Probably these templates would be your help to make your own texture patterns.
     
    • board_top
      Change colour of top board.
    • borad_corner
      Change colour of top board corner.
    • bese
      Change texture of base mattress.
    • blanket1
      Change texture of upper blanket.
    • blanket2
      Change texture of under blanket.

    Chat command examples

    • parts of base, blanket1 and blanket2 (specify a texture UUID) :

    • parts of board_top or board_corner (specify color vector value) :
      /1 <0.8, 0.5, 0.2>
• base angle
  You can change the angle of a mattress (an under carpet) at 0 degrees or 45 degrees- bias or straight.

Tips

Actually there are 2 sculpted blanket prims at each side of "Kotatsu". Please check a pic below.

To sit correctly, you need to target an upper sculpted blanket prim. You are forced to stand up if you target and try to sit on a lower sculpted blanket prim. (It is necessary to achieve a certain function, as we will mention later.)

A special and unofficial function...( premium only )

When someone sits on lower sculpted blanket prim at the same side where you are sitting, the lovers' mode can be activated.

( By some technical reasons, these sitting positions cannot be adjusted. It is very difficult to synchronize those animations. This function is just an appendix, "unofficial" and totally "out of support" one; we are not undertaking any custom works. )

There is 2types of [MnM] "Kotatsu" - Basic and Premium.
